An Ogilvie man was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital after a car crash on the south side of St. Cloud.

St. Cloud Police Lieutenant Jeff Oxton says officers were called to the intersection of 5th Avenue South and 8th Street South in connection with an accident. Oxton says the investigation shows 21-year-old Bashir Billow Aidrus of Waite Park was driving north bound and failed to yield at the stop sign. He says Aidrus collided with another vehicle driven by 18-year-old Heather Ann Krahmer of Ogilvie who was turning left after stopping for the sign.

As a result, Krahmer was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Aidrus received no injuries, but was cited for failing to stop.
