A 19-year-old Monticello woman has died after a car accident early Saturday morning. Megan Lehner died after a head-on collision on Highway 23 near Interstate 94 near St. Cloud.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 27-year-old Ashley Gieseke of Big Lake exited off I-94 and turned into oncoming traffic heading east on Highway 23. Gieseke’s car hit a van head on Highway 23.

The driver of the van, 43-year-old Joseph Schramel of Belgrade sustained non-life threatening injuries. A 12-year-old passenger in Gieseke’s car was injured as well.
