A St. Cloud man with multiple outstanding warrants was arrested Thursday near Waite Park.

 

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says officers received information that 38-year-old Curtis Lee Brown was at an address in St. Joseph Township. Before officers arrived to the location, Brown along with two others left the area in a vehicle.

 

Deputies located Brown on County Road 75 just west of Waite Park when a traffic stop was made. Brown and the others in the car with him locked themselves in the car and would not cooperate with officers.

 

After repeated negotiations Brown surrendered himself and exited the vehicle. His companions were released without incident and no one was injured during the arrest.
