A man is recovering from his injuries after he lost control of his truck and crashed into a tree.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says 20-year-old Charles Lenzmeier of St. Cloud was driving on Agate Beach Road in Rockville on July 4 when he lost control of his truck.

Lenzmeier crashed head on into a tree near the 21000 block of Agate Beach Road.

Lenzmeier was treated on the scene by the Rockville Fire and Rescue squad before being taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for a huge cut on his head and possibly other injuries sustained in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
