Archived: Air Quality Advisory In Effect In Parts Of Minnesota
An air quality advisory has been issued by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. The advisory is taking place until midnight Tuesday for 7 counties in the Twin Cities area.
Meteorology Prof. Bob Weisman, of St. Cloud State University, says the increase of dirt particles in the air has caused the air quality index, AQI, to rise into the upper moderate range. This increase is unhealthy for people with sensitive breathing, the elderly, and children.
