An Alexandria man died in a rear-end accident in Wright County Sunday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 45-year-old Cheryl Sobiech-Rauf of Burnsville was driving an SUV on eastbound on Interstate 94. Sobiech-Rauf slowed down in the left lane and was rear-ended by a motorcycle driven by 59-year-old Steven Hanson.

Hanson was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale where he died of severe injuries.
