Stearns County is looking for people who want to be part of a county board or committee.

The county says becoming a member of a department board is a great way to be involved in important community issues and events.

Positions are available to serve on multiple boards such as the Great River Regional Library, Social Services Task Force, and Park Commission among others.

Anyone who is interested must submit an application by December 4. Applicants will hear back about appointments and interviews starting in January. Questions can be directed to administration at 302-656-3602.
