A St. Cloud State University student will give the Spring Colloquium Address at the Atwood Memorial Center on Monday.

Aaron Cross is a three-time Paralympian in archery who received a spinal cord injury while preparing for pre-Olympic trials for bike racing in 1991. He has worked as a motivational speaker for 14 years. Cross will give a speech on “Focus on Your Target” to the School of Health and Human Services at 2:00 p.m. There will be also another event on ability awareness by the rehabilitation counseling department to bring attention to abilities people with disabilities can do.

The event will have seven practical sessions directed by students and community members with disabilities to reveal how people with disabilities can use adaptive equipment to lead their lives successfully. The sessions will include cerebral palsy, vision loss, autism, deaf and hard of hearing and other related issues.
