An armed robbery was reported on the St. Cloud State University campus early Monday morning.

The robbery was reported to Public Safety just before 1:30 a.m. at North Benton Hall. Officers were told the it happened at the northeast entrance, and the suspects fled before they arrived. The suspects are not know to the victim. The crime was reported to St. Cloud Police.

There is no immediate danger to SCSU students.

Students are encouraged to use safe, direct and well-lit routes or walk in groups. Public Safety also offers escorts for those who don’t feel safe walking.
