A Rockville man was injured in an ATV crash on Saturday.

According to Stearns County Sheriff Don Gudmundson around 11:30 in the morning 48-year-old Christopher Hedlund was riding his Polaris ATV when he hit a stump or root.

Hedlund lost control and flipped the ATV. It came to a rest on top of him, effectively trapping him there. He wasn’t found for about two hours.

Deputies and firemen were able to lift the ATV off of him and he was taken to the hospital, where he was treated.
