The beach at Beebe Lake County Park will be closed through the weekend.

High bacteria levels were detected in the water during a routine test on Thursday which caused the closure.

The water will be tested again on Monday (Aug 21) and Wright County will have the results from the tests on Wednesday.

The Wright County P&R department will notify the public once they have the information.
