Archived: Benefit Fund Set Up For Sauk Rapids Homeowner After Plane Crash

A benefit fund has been set up for the Sauk Rapids man who lost his house due to a plane crash.

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of BankVista Robyn Holthaus says the Jeffrey Hille Benefit Fund has been established to help Hille after his house was destroyed in a fatal plane crash Friday night.

Peter Knudson, a spokesperson for the National Transportation Safety Board—NTSB—says a sightseeing plane crashed about 30 minutes after takeoff. The two people on board, pilot Scott Olson and the passenger, 16-year-old Alexander Voigt were killed after their plane crashed into Hille’s home.

The benefit fund and account have been set up at the BankVista location in Sartell.
