The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect who tried to break into six fish houses.

Sheriff Troy Heck says deputies received a report of an attempted burglary on Little Rock Lake Monday afternoon. A deputy says someone has tried to pry open the door of a fish house.

The deputy also noticed someone tried to pry open five other fish houses. The burglaries are believed to have happened overnight of Sunday and Monday.

The suspects have damaged the fish houses, but didn’t steal any property. The sheriff’s office encourages people not to leave valuable items in fish houses.
