Two St. Cloud women were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital after a two-car crash at the intersection of 29th Ave. and 2nd Street South Saturday evening.

 

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says the accident occurred when a car driven by 44-year-old St. Cloud woman Stacy Rusch struck another car that was stopped at a red light that was being driven by a 55-year-old woman from St. Cloud. 

 

Burke says the exact cause of the accident is still unknown, but adds it could be due to Rusch’s foot coming off the brake pedal and onto the accelerator. Rusch was cited for inattentive driving.
