A Becker woman was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital after a car crash on the south side of St. Cloud early Monday morning.

St. Cloud Police Lieutenant Jeff Oxton says officers responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of 9th Avenue South and University Drive South at 4:29 a.m. The investigation showed that 52-year-old Steven Edward Budde of Foley was driving north bound on 9th Avenue South and tried to pass the red light of University Drive. Budde then collided with a mini-van driven by 38-year-old Danna Lynn Anderson of Becker heading west bound on University Drive on a green light.

As a result, Anderson received minor injuries and was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital. Budde didn’t sustain any injuries and was cited for passing the intersection on a red light.
