The City of Sartell is looking for a volunteer to serve as a Park Commission member.

Community Development Director, Anita Rasmussen, says the park commission is made up of five residents chosen by the city council. Two to four rounds of meetings are held annually to make suggestions on capital plans for parks during the spring and fall months. Members also spend time outside of the meetings touring parks to get a better knowledge about the area.

Rasmussen adds applications for this three-year long position began June 9th and will end June 23rd.
