Archived: Council Of African American Studies To Host Cultural Event On Valentine’s Day
St. Cloud State University Council of African American Studies will be hosting a cultural event this Saturday, Valentine’s Day evening at the Atwood Ballroom.
The event is called Shades of Love and celebrates black culture, community and love. Council of African American Studies president Jandeltha Paylue says that the event is not only for African Americans, it’s about promoting diversity and understanding.
Shades of Love takes place this Saturday at the Atwood Ballroom beginning with dinner at 5 p.m. and a show at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students and faculty and $12 for non-students.
