One person has died after a crash on a ramp connecting to eastbound Interstate 94 Thursday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol says deputies were called to the southbound ramp of Highway 15 just after 7:30 p.m. Thursday after reports of a crash.

Deputies say 31-year-old Renee Hallberg of Monticello was taking the ramp from Highway 15 to I-94 when her car drifted off the road to the right. Hallberg is said to have over-corrected her car to the left shoulder, hitting the guardrail and then the overpass pillar.

Hallberg was pronounced dead at the scene.
