Burglaries have recently been reported on the St. Cloud State University campus, and authorities are seeking the public’s help to find the suspect.

After weeks of investigation SCSU’s Department of Public Safety believes 26-year-old Aboubacar Sadikh Kane is responsible for the thefts. Kane was confronted in the Wick Science Building and watched in Centennial Hall and Administrative Services coming from secured areas.

Kane is described as an African American male with black hair and brown eyes, more than six feet tall with a slender build.

Public Safety says call 911 immediately if you see Kane on campus, or contact the department with information at 320-308-3333.

In the meantime, law enforcement reminds people to lock doors, secure personal belongings and be aware of your surroundings.
