A deadly bicycle accident caused both directions of Highway 15 in Sartell to be closed for a couple of hours earlier Tuesday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a car, driven by 40-year-old Jason Stocker from Sartell, was heading south on Highway 15 just north of Country Road 1. Stocker hit a bicyclist who was trying to cross Highway 15. The driver was not harmed and the identity of the bicyclist has not yet been released.

All lane of Highway 15 are now open for travel. KVSC will update you as more information on this story is released.
