St. Cloud State University hosted a conference about “Out of Poverty: Sweatshops in a Global Economy” Tuesday morning.

Professor of Economics at Texas Tech University, Benjamin Powell, explains his theory on how sweatshops have created opportunities for workers and benefited the economy of developing countries.
