Archived: Empty Pesticide Containers Can Be Disposed In Albany And Paynesville Locations
Area businesses and farmers who have empty pesticide containers can get rid of them by the end of the month.
Stearns County says there is two drop off spots where the containers will be recycled.
The containers can be brought to CentraSota Co-op in Albany before August 22 or Farmers Union Co-op in Paynesville by August 29.
Stearns County adds all containers should be cleaned and triple rinsed before being dropped off. All caps and plastic labeling should be removed and the type of plastic must be #2 HDPE.
