Camping at Kathio… 3,500 Year Ago

You’re invited to learn about life 3,500 years ago at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park.
Participants will step back in time as we look at artifacts and take a short walk to locations where archaeologists found evidence of a village from the 1600’s and a “campsite” dating to over 3,000 years ago.
Plant to meet in front of the Interpretive Center on Saturday, July 2nd at 10 a.m. Keep in mind rain or inclement weather will cancel this program. Mille Lace Kathio State Park is located about 8 miles north of Onamia.
