The Chamber Music Society of St. Cloud is presenting pianist Ann DuHamel in concert.

The program features works selected from her project “Prayers for a Feverish Planet: New Music about Climate Change.”

The performance has selections from a collection of 60 new pieces for piano and piano/electronics written by composers on six continents on the themes of water, grief/anxiety, shadows and light, time, human “progress,” trees, hope, and more. It includes a piece composed by SCSU music professor Kristian Twombly.

The Chamber Music Society concert is 7:30 p.m. Saturday, January 21st at the SCSU’s Ruth Gant Recital Hall in the Performing Art Center.
