Get your fill of seeds, seedlings, soil and sun at Prairie Gardens Install, a new hands-on workshop offered by Rethos: Places Reimagined and the Morrison County Historical Society.

You’ll learn how to create your own prairie garden with native plants uniquely adapted to your local climate. Instructor Ben Wood will guide you through the process while installing a prairie garden at the Jodon House, a Greek Revival-style home built in 1858 in Little Falls. Ben will teach you what, where, when and how to plant and about the importance of good site preparation. Enjoy this historic landscape while learning the essential skills needed to help you create your own natural wonder.

The outdoor workshop is Saturday, June 11th from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
