The Stearns History Museum presents a new exhibit, entitled “Rising to the Crisis: A County Responds to a World in Turmoil.”

What does it mean to strive for the greater good? Rising to the Crisis examines Stearns County’s response to War World II. More than 4,000 Stearns County residents joined the military, and people on the home front volunteered for the Red Cross, collected scrap metal, and planted Victory Gardens. Relive the experiences of Stearns County residents who served our county overseas and at home during the war effort.

The Stearns History Museum is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
