Archived: Expect I-94 West Traffic Slowdowns Near St. Cloud Starting Monday
Motorists will face a slow or stopped traffic on Interstate 94 West near St. Cloud starting on Monday.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says all lanes and ramps between County Road 75 and the I-94 Sauk River Bridges in St. Joseph will be closed Mondays through Thursdays from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. while crews resurface 8 and a half miles of the interstate. The work will last for about a month.
The closure begins from eastbound I-94 near St. Joseph. The closure route starts from west to east towards County Road 75 in St. Cloud through St. Augusta. It also starts from east to west on westbound I-94 from County Road 75 to the Sauk River brighe in St. Joseph.
The ramps at I-94, County Road 75, I-94, Highway 15, I-94 Highway 23 will close as crews work on the acceleration and decelaration of lanes.
The $3 million project will improve the road’s ride and bolster the segment of I-94 to serve the transportation system.
