The former director of the National Park Service will be visiting St. Cloud State University Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss the park system’s status and its future as well as diversity in the workplace.

 

Robert Stanton is a career civil service administrator who has served nearly four decades with the NPS. Stanton is credited with increasing NPS staff diversity and developing programs that recognized the cultural and historic contributions of minorities.

 

Stanton will be speaking at the Atwood Memorial Center Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2 p.m.
