Four people were injured in a broadside crash Sunday along County Road 16 in Sherburne County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 29-year Ignacio Gomez of Minneapolis was driving a truck eastbound when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 25 just before 8 p.m. The truck broadsided an SUV, driven by 32-year-old Sean Ayer of St. Cloud, which was traveling south along the highway.

Two of the three people in the SUV, including the driver, suffered non-life threatening injuries. The other passenger, 26-year-old Nickole Ayer of Plymouth, received serious injuries.

Gomez was unharmed, but his passenger in the truck also suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were totaled in the accident.
