Archived: Four People Arrested In St. Cloud Undercover Meth Bust
The Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force arrested four people from the St. Cloud area in an undercover methamphetamine sting Monday.
Task Force Commander Steve Soyka says 32-year-old Ryan Swartley from St. Cloud drove an undercover officer to the exchange to meet and allegedly buy meth from 37-year-old Rebecca Van Grevenhof, also from St. Cloud. Soyka says Vangrevenhof was arrested for 2nd degree sale of a controlled substance and possession.
Stemming from their investigation for the first sting, a 36-year-old St. Joseph man also agreed to meet in St. Cloud and sell undercover officers meth.
Soyka says Brian Jernberg was arrested on first degree sale of a controlled substance. Authorities say meth was found during a search of Jernberg’s vehicle.
23-year-old Kristin Kolbe, from St. Cloud was with Jernberg during the drug sting and was arrested on felony warrants.
Swartley, Vangrevenhof, Jernberg and Kolbe are all being held in the Stearns County Jail awaiting court.
