Archived: Four People Arrested On Charges of 5th Degree Possession On Drug Charges
Four people were arrested on charges of 5th degree possession of controlled substance in St. Cloud Thursday.
The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force carried out a search warrant at the address of 1419 Northway Place. Investigators from the Task Force had learned that methamphetamine was being sold out of the residence. Undercover officers had purchased drugs from the people in the residence and had arranged prostitution transactions in the past.
39-year-old Joshua Nelson of St. Cloud, 35-year-old Paul Yozamp of St. Cloud, 27-yearold Kelly Schmidt of Richmond and 28-year-old Diana Hobs-Hafsland with no permanent address were inside the residence when officers carried out the search. Methamphetamine, heroin, synthetic marijuana and marijuana were found in the residence.
All four were taken to the Stearns County Jail waiting for court. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Task Force during the investigation.
