Four people were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital after the vehicle they were travelling in left the roadway.

The Minnesota State Patrol says deputies were called to the eastbound lane of Interstate 94 near Avon just before 11 a.m. New Year’s Day.

Deputies found a PT Cruiser driven by 19-year-old Kiana Canady of Brooklyn Park had veered to the left, over corrected, and went off the road. The Cruiser had hit a fence and some trees before coming to a stop.

Canady and her passengers, 18-year-old Reanne Kluttz of Minneapolis, 18-year-old Ashley Murphy, and 6-year-old Darrick Jurior were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
