St. Cloud and its neighboring areas will be under a freezing rain advisory from tonight till tomorrow morning.

St. Cloud State Meteorology professor Bob Weisman says we will have showers during the course of the day and night while precipitation will become steady late in the afternoon and continues to the evening. Apart from the possibility of having a few wet snowflakes, he says temperature of 32 or lower than that will result in freezing drizzle and freezing rain.

Weisman adds the national weather advisory also covers Alexandria, Benson, Long Prairie, Wadena, Sauk Center, Glenwood, Little Falls, Milaca, Princeton, Mora, Cambridge and Pine City.
