A string of cold weather and rain could drizzle disaster across Minnesota.

St. Cloud State University Meteorology Professor Bob Weisman says dropping temperatures and rain around the state could cause commuting problems. Temperatures have dropped below freezing in some areas around Long Prairie and Little Falls causing hazardous road conditions.

The St. Cloud and surrounding areas should prepare for icy roads and sidewalks Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
