Child care opportunities will be made available for St. Cloud State University veterans next semester. The Veterans Resource Center, Campus Recreation and Outdoor Endeavors are teaming up to make child care possible one night a week beginning in the Fall.

The goal of the program is so veterans can have an easier transition into student life by getting involved in campus activities. Campus Rec hopes offering child care will help veterans take part in intramural sports, climbing the rock wall and other athletics.

It hasn’t been determined yet if child care will be free or offered at a small cost. Fundraisers are being hosted this summer to cut down expenses.
