Do you have a great product or business idea? There’s an event next month that may help you bring that idea to life.

The St. Cloud Startup Weekend is an opportunity to take startup ideas from concepts to presentable products over the course of a 54-hour race.

Designers, programmers and business-minded people will meet each other and propose their ideas to be voted on. Teams will decide what the best ideas are and work together to create everything needed to pitch them. The competition helps participants to create all the components from logo design to attracting customers so they can finalize their pitch.

The program recently received sponsorship from the St. Cloud State University Herberger Business School. The school will cover all fees for two students interested in participating. The event is open to the public and students. It starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday, November 6^th, and goes through 8:30 p.m. Sunday November 8^th. It will be held at the Engel Science Center at St. John’s University.
