November 8 is Election Day, and to encourage voter turnout, Minnesota State Gov. Mark Dayton visited St. Cloud State University to rally democratic voters.

He participated in a question-and-answer panel to discuss local issues of racism, police-community relations and the cost of higher education.

Democratic candidates around the St. Cloud area who attended include: Dan Wolgamott for Senate District 14, Zachary Dorholt for District 14B State Representative and Aric Putnam for District 14A, and David Snyder for Congressional District 6.
