Officers responded to an armed robbery on the north side of St. Cloud Thursday night.

St. Cloud Police Assistant Chief Jeff Oxton says officers received a report of robbery at Super America in the 1500 block of Northway Drive shortly after 8 p.m. Two suspects entered the store and approached one of the clerks. The clerk suffered minor injuries after one of the suspects hit him in the head. No other injuries were reported.

The suspects left the area on foot with an unknown amount of money. They are described as black men wearing ski type masks, dark hooded jackets with dark pants. One of them is in his twenties with a thin build and six foot and five inches tall.The other suspect is older and six foot and one inch tall.

Officers set up a perimeter shortly after the robbery occurred, but couldn’t find anything. Anyone with information can contact the Tri-County Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.
