Archived: Hayride Accident Injures Six

One of Halloween’s most treasured traditions turned sour last Saturday night when six people were injured during a collision. Seven adults were riding a farm trailer being pulled by a tractor for a hayride when a woman from Foley hit the trailer with her SUV.
The collision happened on County Road 6 near County Road 3 in Palmer Township.
Sheriff Joel Brott said 36-year-old Tammi Fleck was arrested after driving into the rear portion of the trailer and causing injury to five passengers and the driver of the tractor.
The six injured adults were taken to the Saint Cloud hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Fleck has been held in the Sherburne County Jail pending DWI and criminal vehicular operation charges.
