Archived: Heavy Rains Are Expected And Flash Flood Warnings Have Been Issued In Central Minn.
With heavy rain expected through the rest of the week, central Minn. is one region where flash flooding is expected.
The National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings for east central, south central and southeastern Minn. The warning started Wednesday afternoon and goes through Thursday.
The National Weather Service predicts 2-4 inches of rain for most of the watch areas but local areas could see as much as 5-8 inches in the next couple of days.
