KEARNEY, NE – The St. Cloud State Huskies knocked off the Nebraska Kearney Lopers in the second round of the NCAA Division II Central Region tournament, winning three sets to one.

St. Cloud took control early by winning the first set 25-12. They stayed in front in the second and closed it out 25-19. Nebraska Kearney answered in the third set, winning 27-25 after a tight finish. The Huskies regrouped in the fourth, pulling ahead midway through the set and finishing with a 25-19 win to secure the match.

Ella Thompson and Sam Zimmerman led the Huskies with 16 kills each. St. Cloud also finished with advantages in aces, blocks, assists, and digs, showing a steady all-around performance.

With the win, the Huskies advance to play Concordia St. Paul in the reigon semifinals tomorrow at 5:00 pm. The game will be live on RadioX.
