Drivers commuting toward the twin cities on Interstate 94 should be aware of overnight lane closures and extra speed patrols through Friday.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says crews will close I-94 in Rogers and St. Michael to complete cleanup and off-roadway work. The work is part of the Corridors of Commerce project to add extra driving lanes to the interstate.

Overnight closures will start every night at 7 p.m. this week until Friday.
