- John Allen: Served as Assistant Program Director during the late 1990s. He is currently married and resides with his family and dog. He continues to stay connected to music through local DJ work.
- Erik Anderson: Began his broadcasting career at KVSC and currently works in the American Hockey League with the Florida Panthers organization in Louisville, Kentucky.
- Kirk Anderson: Served as Sports Director during the 1990s and is now a practicing attorney in the Midwest.

- Eli Belobaba: Currently resides in Oregon, where he works as a veterinary assistant and continues to perform music.
- Danny Berg
- Rick Bergerson: Began his KVSC career in 1983 and hosted Frets starting in 1985.
- Jim Bernard: Pursuing a master’s degree at St. Cloud State University while continuing to work as a morning host and sports technician.
- Dick Bremer: Long‑time play‑by‑play announcer for the Minnesota Twins. Bremer began his broadcast career at KVSC while a student at St. Cloud State University before moving on to become one of the most recognized voices in Minnesota sports broadcasting.
- Dave Boyer: Known on air as Ed Fish; trainer of new staff members.
- Shawn Braith: Creator and host of the Undercurrents punk rock program.
- Joe Briol: Radio host during the late 1980s.
- Kari Brolsma: Former Sports Director. Currently serves as Assistant News and Sports Director at KLSS-FM, KRIB-FM, and KYTC-FM in Mason City, Iowa.
- Scott Bryant: Former early-morning host on 88.1 FM during the late 1990s. A 2001 St. Cloud State University graduate, he previously worked in technical roles for Leighton Broadcasting and now works in the traffic department at KAAL ABC 6 News. He also performs mobile DJ services and professional voiceover work.
- Rob Callahan: Writer and media professional known for his work at City Pages and contributions to Twin Cities journalism. Callahan is a KVSC alum whose early experience at the station helped launch his career in writing and media.
- Chris Campbell: Former Music Director and host of Abstractions. Currently a member of Squid, a spoken-word and experimental music group based in St. Paul.
- Jeromy Cannon: Training Department Director at KVSC from 1997–2000. Currently works as a computer support technician for Sara Lee in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Charlie Carlson: DJ from 1998–2004, former Training Director and Stages host. Currently teaches mathematics in Reading, England.
- James Carlson: On-air personalities included Julio Sanchez and Earl Kruger Jr. during the mid-1980s. Founder of The Area.
- Jeff Chamberlin: Production Director from 1996–1997.
- Amy Dahlin: News Director from the late 1990s through 2000. Former television anchor and reporter at KSAX-TV in Alexandria, Minnesota. Currently Editor of the Osakis Review and reporter for the Echo Press.
- Robin DeBates: Former News Director, Music Assistant, and Sisters host. Currently resides in Ashland, Oregon.
- Bill Devine: Former News Director and host of the Sunday new-age program Seasons.
E – H
- John Eichten: Former Training Director, Classic Rock host, and co-host of The Golden Road, KVSC’s original Grateful Dead program. Long-time KVSC donor, currently residing in Minneapolis.
- Daniel Ellenbecker: Former DJ and Webmaster; responsible for the current website design.
- Scott Elton: Served in various roles at KVSC from 1973–1976. Retired in 2016 from the University of Minnesota as Assistant to the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts.
- Jim Emery: Known on air as Jimmy Jonga.
- Dan “Raymond” Feehan: Active from 1993–1996 as an overnight, weekend, and fill-in host. Currently works in radio in Des Moines, Iowa.
- Darrin Feist: On-air as Clyde Lee. Served in multiple roles during the mid-1980s, including Music Director and contributor to the KVSC Street Sheet.
- Dale Fine: On air from 1981–1982, hosting rock and jazz programming. Currently works in advertising sales in Minneapolis.
- Gwen Flanders: Served as KVSC News Director during the station’s early formation. Currently Washington Editor for USA Today.
- Toby Folwick: Known on air as Toby Dean. Founder and host of the College Marconi Award-winning spoken-word program Set in Sound (1997–1999).
- Conal Garrity: Served from 1994–2004 as Online Services Director, Assistant Music Director, and Granite City Rock Café host.
- Judi Gay: Former Sisters host and writer/producer for American Sojourn. Broadcast Camp Director at SCSU.
- E. Glenn Gilbert: News Director during the mid-1980s.
- Linda Gustafson: Hosted a classical music program in the late 1960s. Former library administrator and media specialist; currently resides in Belfast, Maine.
- Fareed Guyot: Captain with Scott Air Charter and Technical Sales Representative with IDC Aerospace, based in Milwaukee.
- Tim Hackenmiller: Host of Granite City Rock Café during the late 1990s.
- Kirk Hall: Hosted College and Community Focus in 1975.
- Kathleen Hallinan: Known on air as Sister Kathleen (1986–1990). Former Minnesota Public Radio employee. Passed away in April 2016.
- Steven Hartog: On air as Steven Chase from 1986–1988. Currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- Tom Haugen: Assistant Engineer (2001) and Assistant Program Director (2002–2003). Currently volunteers with Jefferson Public Radio in Oregon.
- Mike Hendrickson: Engineer from 1970–1972. Currently Broadcast Network Group Supervisor at Minnesota Public Radio.
- Dick Hill: Former General Manager and host of Movies on the Radio.
- Anthony Hunt: KVSC Graduate Assistant (1996–1998). Currently Station Manager of WVPE 88.1 FM in Elkhart, Indiana.
- Mike Hutchens: Former KVSC engineer; currently Chief Engineer for Regent Broadcasting in Evansville, Indiana.

- Kris Ihrke: Worked in Marketing, Promotions, and On-Air roles during the mid-1990s. Currently resides in San Diego.
- Gary Jasdzewski: Known on air as GaryJaz. Hosted Friday Freeform, Abstractions, and Insomnia Heaven from 1986–1992. Currently lives in Boston.
- Mark S. Johnson: First KVSC Program Director in the late 1960s. Assisted in constructing the original transmitter system. Currently serves as Managing Editor for CHS Cooperatives/Land O’Lakes publications, including Cooperative Partners Magazine and ePreview.
- Bart Johnson: Known on air as Bartholomew Cubbins. Former music host; currently teaches in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
- Ron Johnson: Former KVSC Sports Director in the late 1990s. Currently host and producer for Fox Sports Net North in Minneapolis, anchoring and reporting on professional and collegiate sports.
- Ann Jung: Former KVSC staff member.
- Mike Kalinowski: Sports Director from 1992–1993. Currently works in media and public relations for the Los Angeles Kings.
- Bill Knight: Former Minnesota IRS spokesperson; retired.
- Bill Krahling: Editor of Reverb Magazine from 1987–1988.
- “Patrick Jaye” Ladwig: Former Production Director.
- Mark Lauer: Former KVSC staff member.
- Muggsy Lauer: Jazz host, coffee roaster, and KVSC contributor.
- Bryan Lee: Known on air as Mott Scudder during the 1980s.
- Dave “Crabby” Lee: Known on air as Crabby. Served as Marketing Director and worked in Concerts, Promotions, and Trivia operations.
- Chad Lian: KVSC volunteer from 1990 to present. Inducted into the KVSC Trivia Hall of Fame in 2003.
- Shawn Lloyd: Host of Urban Invasion from 1998–1999, featuring underground hip-hop programming.
- Tom Lloyd: Music host and Assistant Program Director (1998–1999). Currently an aircraft dispatcher in Chicago.
- Lori Locken: Served during the late 1970s and early 1980s as Assistant and Co-Music Director.
- Brian Loften: Former Assistant Music Director; currently resides in New York City.
- Tim Lyon: Former News Director in the late 1980s. Currently a radio host and Digital Managing Editor at Townsquare Media in St. Cloud.

- Scott MacCloy: Produced classical music programming from 1973–1974. Currently resides in Connecticut and volunteers with a world music program at the University of Hartford’s WWUH (91.3 FM). He has worked in telecommunications for over 20 years and currently serves as Director of Sales Management at Qwest Communications.
- John Maiers: Former KVSC staff member; currently based in Mankato, Minnesota.
- Jason March: Dorm DJ, News Anchor, and Sports Director from 1999–2003. Currently works full-time at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Minneapolis and contributes to cable-access sports programming for CTV-15.
- Andy Marlow: Founding contributor to KVSC. Retired as Station Manager of Radio K at the University of Minnesota.
- Maria Martin: News Director and reporter from 1998–2000. Earned a master’s degree from St. Cloud State University in 2005.
- Robin McCoy: Former KVSC staff member.
- Bobby McGee: Works in database services with Emerald Data Processing in St. Cloud. KVSC supporter and alum.
- Matt McGuire: On-air announcer during the late 1980s.
- Lisa McIntire: Active at KVSC from 1981–1984. Remains interested in radio broadcasting and reflects positively on her KVSC experience.
- Jo McMullen-Boyer: Longtime KVSC Station Manager and leader in the station’s community engagement and arts programming. Had deep ties to KVSC history, helping develop events like Trivia Weekend and anchoring the station’s role in Central Minnesota’s cultural scene.
- Brian Merhar: Known on air as Bubba Kinkaid. Currently a high school counselor in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
- Maynard Meyer: Served as News Director around 1972. Co-owner of KLQP-FM in Madison, Minnesota since 1983. Inducted into the Minnesota Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2011.
- Jesse Miller: Production Director from 2001–2002. Musician and producer, recording under The Curiously Strong Peppermints and bassist for The Ultraviolet Fuzz.
- Shelley Miller: Former KVSC Training Director and former Program Coach at Radio K (770 AM), University of Minnesota. Extensive experience in public and commercial radio.
- Stephen Mikkelson: On-air sports reader in the late 1980s. Graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1990.
- Pete Moroz: Program Director in 1992; longtime contributor to KVSC music programming.
- Ricky Monds: Known on air as Darnell Slick. Hosted Soul Stroll and Jazz Fusion during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Currently resides in Georgia.
- Andre Moshenberg: Known on air as Dr. Aiko. Former announcer and Program Director during the 1980s; occasional host in later years.
- Dave Muggli: On-air announcer during the early 1990s and host of What’s Happening.
- Troy Mumm: Program Director during the early-to-mid 1990s and former Operations Manager at KRCL 90.9 FM in Salt Lake City, Utah. Currently works as a web designer.
- JJ Murray: Served from 1983–1988 as News Director, Sports Director, and DJ. Currently News Director at KIMT-TV in Mason City, Iowa, with previous experience at multiple television stations nationwide.
- Nathan Nesje: Known as Nature. Served as Head Hamster Honcho and contributor to Collectively Unconscious.
- Byron Nelson: KVSC staff member from 1978–1980. Has worked in numerous radio markets across the Midwest and Pacific Northwest.
- Cari Ness: Former Program Director. Currently Station Relations Representative (West Coast) for American Public Media and Minnesota Public Radio.
- Danyel O’Connor: Marketing Director in the early 2000s, responsible for client development and coordination of Trivia Weekend food and prizes.
- Jim Olander: Award-winning Sports Director from 1999–2003. Currently the play-by-play announcer and media relations representative for the USHL Sioux Falls Stampede.
- Tom Olenich: Former KVSC staff member.
- Earle Olson: Worked at KVSC from 1979–1981. Formerly with WJON and KCLD; currently a Global Product Manager for Tyco Electronics Fiber Optics.
- Eric Parsons: On-air announcer during the mid-1990s.
- Brian Patrick: Former multi-role contributor at KVSC. Has worked professionally as a casino dealer since 2006 and continues to support Trivia events.
- John Paulson: Known on air as JP. Sports Director from 1994–1995. Currently with KMSD 1510 AM in Milbank, South Dakota.
- Langdon Perry: Known on air as Pooch. Former news and sports contributor (1998–1999). Later served as morning news anchor for FM 100.3 KTLK in Minneapolis.
- Paul W. Perry: Radio announcer in 1970 during KVSC’s early low-power years. Later worked at KFAM (now KCLD).
- Lisa Peterson: Announcer from 1981–1983 and producer of The Fine Line. Currently owns a marketing communications firm, Main Ideas, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

- Mark Raede: Music Assistant. Ecuadorian native currently working in airport management in Yuma, Arizona.
- Tom Raich: Trivia writer and longtime contributor. Inducted into the KVSC Trivia Hall of Fame.
- Surendra K. Ramanapudi: Graduate Assistant from 2001–2003. Assisted with marketing initiatives and Trivia Weekend operations.
- Kevin Ridley: First full-time KVSC Station Manager and influential leader during the station’s formative years. Currently works in the newspaper industry in Denver, Colorado.
- Jill Riley: Production Director and Assistant News Director (2003–2004). Currently morning show host on 89.3 The Current (MPR).
- Jeff Rivers: Former KVSC staff member.
- Terry Rosati: News Director while a graduate student during the mid-1990s.
- Brad Savage: Former KVSC Program Director.
- Emily Sebasky: Music Assistant and on-air host; former part-time KVSC contributor.
- Steve Seiberling: KVSC staff member from 1986–1990. Currently manages the Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Department at a hospital in Stanley, Wisconsin.
- Janice Severson: Known on air as Sunny Ice. Host of Sisters and recipient of KVSC honors for programming excellence. Currently resides in St. Paul, Minnesota.
- Mark Skogman: KVSC contributor from September 1977 to May 1980. Served as disc jockey, news reporter, continuity director, recording engineer, and producer of The Apocalypse Hour.
- Kyle Smith: Known on air as Uncle Corn. Currently Program Director at WYEP in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Mississippi Tim: Creator and former host of A Whole Lotta Blues. Hosted Root Cellar on KVSC.
- Rick Stephens: Former host of Dead Air, KVSC’s Grateful Dead program. Currently works at KQRS 92 FM in Minneapolis under the name Erik Stohlberg.
T – V
- Greg Thompson: KVSC alum from 1981–1984. Active during the station’s formative years in the 1980s.
- Julie Thompson: Known on air as Jules. Worked at KVSC during the mid-1980s and hosted Sisters.
- Alan Torney: Station Engineer from 1978–1979.
- Billy Tortorici: Known on air as Billy T. Sports Reporter from 1998–1999. Formerly worked with NBC Sports in Chicago; currently freelances in sports production.
- Mike VanKeulen: Former KVSC staff member.
- Matt Von Brauchitsch: Former late-night host. Currently works in Washington, D.C., in international and academic affairs.
W – Z
- Gary Weckwerth: Sports Director from 1979–1982. Former Sports Director at KELO-TV in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Current owner of the Sioux Falls Stampede hockey team.
- Chris Weiss: Former KVSC Engineer. Currently resides in Portland, Oregon with his family.
- Aaron White: Consulting Engineer to KVSC. Oversaw the 2003 airchain and transmitter upgrade.
- Aaron Worm: KVSC contributor from 1997–1998. Currently works in news and sports broadcasting in Mankato, Minnesota.
- Kevin Young: Former News Director, Sports Director, and Graduate Assistant during the 1990s. Currently works in Minneapolis and resides in Waconia, Minnesota.
- Joe Ziskovsky: Former training and weather contributor. Currently employed with Kavouris in Burnsville, Minnesota.
- Douglas Zwach: Former Station Engineer. Worked for IBM in Rochester, Minnesota, and later earned a master’s degree in Space Science from Florida Institute of Technology. Currently based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, supporting satellite operations for U.S. Space Command.
