KVSC and Great Theatre Present: Sherlock Holmes

GREAT Theatre and KVSC are teaming up for our third annual radio drama on Saturday, November 2 as we broadcast live from the Helgeson Learning Lab Theatre!

You can get your TICKETS HERE.

Be part of our studio audience and hear the adventures of world-famous detective Sherlock Holmes and trusty sidekick Dr. Watson as they outwit London’s most nefarious criminals in a night of twists and turns. The play is a reinvigoration of Mercury Theatre’s radio drama of William Gillette’s enduring melodrama based on the famous stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

We can’t wait as this production will be performed in Theatre in the Round style, the audience will surround the actors and foley sound effects technician.

In the production we visit Baker Street in a London of the late 19th century just before the world changes dramatically, where high adventure awaits under a gas lamp with an Inverness cape. We pay tribute to the most wonderful member of that most wonderful world — a gentleman who never lived, and who will never die.

The live radio show will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Helgeson Learning Lab Theatre in Waite Park (next to Crafts Direct).

This production is supported in part by a grant from the Minnesota Arts and Culture Legacy grant.
