KVSC 88.1 FM continues its tradition of supporting local artists by presenting its annual Minnesota Music Day. On Oct. 17, from 6 a.m. – midnight, KVSC will broadcast only Minnesota music. All regular programming will be pre-empted to meet the day’s commitment to homegrown music.

The St. Cloud duo of Adam Hammer and Dave Cofell perform live from 12:15-1 p.m. Minneapolis-based Pert Near Sandstone will perform live from the KVSC studios during the “Diversions” show which runs from 5-7 p.m. A third and final live performance will take place during “Monday Night Live” as the Minneapolis Americana group Turn Back Now performs for one hour beginning at 10 p.m.
