The National Association for the Education of Young Children accredits the St. Cloud State University’s Lindgren Child Care Center.

The only program with an accredited status, it is also one of the 344 accredited programs in Minnesota. The program provides care to infants, toddlers, and preschool children of SCSU.

NAEYC says the administration, teaching staff and families of Lindgren Child Care Center are all to be congratulated for continuing to uphold the mark of quality represented by the NAEYC Accreditation system.

Director of the center Debra Carlson says accreditation is one of the hallmark measures of excellence in higher education overall.

Lindgren Child Care Center has maintained its status for eighteen years since 1996.
