A Little Falls woman was taken to the hospital after a two-car accident near St. Stephen Thursday morning.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies responded to a collision on County Road Two in Brockway Township. 66-year-old Catherine Jesok of Rice was heading southbound turning left into a driveway. Another car driven by 55-year-old Dawn Marie Carrillo was driving southbound and tried to pass Jesok when the vehicles crashed. Carrillo’s car went off the road and hit a utility pole.

She was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of her injuries, Jesok did not need medical treatment. St. Stephen Fire and Rescue assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene.
