A robbery near Princeton sent one to jail for an alleged armed robbery early Monday morning.

Sherburne County Sheriff’s Spokesman David Unze says just after 2 a.m. in Princeton Park an 18-year-old man said another man approached him with a knife and robbed him of his cell phone, wallet and other personal items.

The man then left in a pick-up truck, which was spotted in Mille Lacs County. A vehicle chase went on through several counties until 27-year-old Jason Stuart Vossen was caught.

Vossen is currently being held in Sherburne County Jail on charges of 1st-degree aggravated robbery.
