A man in a wheelchair was killed along Highway 25 in Monticello Saturday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 51-year-old Robert Haire was riding in a chair in the right turn lane of Highway 25 toward Kjellberg Court. A pickup driven by 29-year-old Maria Miller from Buffalo struck Haire, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.
