A 19-year-old man was taken to St. Cloud Hospital after he fell from a pile of rocks  in Quarry Park in Waite Park.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says an employee saw a man falling from a rock in the swimming quarry area in Waite Park. Daniel Mattice of White Bear Lake fell off a 15-foot high rock onto a rock ledge. He was knocked unconscious from the fall and received injuries on his back and arm.

Mattice gained consciousness before responders arrived at the scene. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
